Hi, I’m Elizabeth Hadorn, PsyD
I am a licensed psychologist with specialized training in the treatment of anxiety and stress-related concerns. My work is informed by evidence-based approaches including cognitive and behavioral therapies, as well as insight-oriented and relational frameworks.
Throughout my training and clinical experience, I have worked with professionals, leaders, and high-functioning individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, and the demands of achievement.
Stillpoint Psychology operates as a private-pay practice by design. This allows for greater privacy, flexibility, and individualized care — free from the limitations of insurance-based treatment models. My goal is to provide focused, thoughtful psychological services in a setting that respects both your time and your confidentiality.
Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of my clinical work, I value time that allows for reflection and recalibration. Some of my favorite moments are simple ones — taking long walks with my puppy (featured here), moving through a yoga class, or exploring a new coffee shop or local brewery with my husband or friends.
I’m drawn to experiences that invite presence. Whether it’s being outdoors, sharing an unhurried conversation, or spending time with family, I find that stepping away from constant motion brings greater clarity and perspective.
Like many of the individuals I work with, I understand how easy it is to stay busy and keep pushing forward. Creating intentional pauses does not always come naturally — but those pauses are often where steadiness and insight begin.
Stillpoint Psychology reflects this belief: that growth does not require constant striving. Sometimes it begins with simply slowing down.

My Approach
Clients often describe my style as warm, thoughtful, and steady. I value depth and reflection, and I appreciate the importance of practical tools and meaningful progress.
I integrate evidence-based approaches for anxiety with a focus on insight, emotional awareness, and long-term resilience. Together, we explore the patterns that shape your experience, strengthen your internal foundation, and create space for intentional, sustainable change.
I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and grounded. You will be met with respect, curiosity, and careful attention — never judgment. Therapy becomes a place where you do not have to perform — where you can speak honestly, think deeply, and move forward intentionally.
Why Stillpoint?
The name Stillpoint reflects what I hope therapy can offer: a place to return to center. A pause within a life that often moves quickly. A steady presence when things feel unsettled.
Creating this practice was an intentional choice. I wanted to offer a private, focused environment where thoughtful individuals could engage in meaningful psychological work — without distraction, without pressure, and with genuine care.
